Privacy policy
Short version: we do not want your data and we do not keep your links.
Last updated 6 September 2026.
What we collect
No account, no name, no email. The only things our server records are the standard entries every web server writes: your IP address, the time of the request, and which page was asked for. Those logs exist so the site can be kept running and abuse can be spotted, and they rotate out on a short cycle.
The links you paste
A link you paste is passed to the media service that resolves it, then discarded. It is not written to a database, not attached to you, and not kept as history.
The files
Nothing you download is stored on our server. Files stream through from Instagram's own network directly to your device, and the temporary link used to do that expires after thirty minutes.
Cookies and local storage
There is no tracking cookie. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage under iv-theme and never leaves your device. A session cookie may be set by the server for basic request handling.
Third parties
Resolving a link means passing it to an external media API. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when the page loads. If analytics or advertising are ever added, this section will say so before they go live.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data tied to you, there is generally nothing to export or delete. If you believe we hold something of yours, write to support@instavidly.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
